A woman of Sersa village today tried to end her life over police inaction in the suicide case of her son-in-law. She was taken to BPS Government Medical College for Women, Khanpur Kalan. Her condition is reportedly stable.

The victim, along with family members, had reportedly come to meet Deputy Commissioner KM Pandurang for seeking action against the alleged accused. Even though the DC assured action in the case, the woman consumed poison at the Mini Secretariat later.

Subhash of Murthal village, who was an employee of Haryana Agro Industries in Karnal, ended his life on Saturday. He blamed seven persons reportedly close to CPS Bakshish Singh Virk responsible for his suicide.
