Karnal, June 21
Kurukshetra MP Raj Kumar Saini has made it clear he would not contest next year’s Lok Sabha elections on the BJP ticket. “I will float a party in August,” he said.
He was here on Thursday to conduct a meeting of his supporters and resolve differences among them. At a last week’s rally in Karnal, rift among BJP MP’s supporters came to light.
“I came here to know the reasons behind the rift. I have asked workers to coordinate better for the success of a rally in Karnal on August 28. I have asked all work to work hard for it,” he said.
He appreciated the BJP for breaking an alliance with the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Jammu and Kashmir. “The BJP should have snapped ties earlier. Under the Governor’s rule, law and order situation will improve.”
Saini, meanwhile, accused previous Haryana Chief Ministers for discriminating against the state.
On the caste composition of the government officials, he said thousands of officials had not disclosed their caste. “Employees should disclose their caste so that it can be determined which caste has the maximum share in jobs,” Saini added.
