Two women from Nagrota Bagwan and Yol in the district yesterday tested positive for swine flu at the Dr Rajendra Prasad Government Medical College, Tanda, taking the number of H1N1 patients in the district to eight.
Dr YD Sharma, medical superintendent, DRPGMC, Tanda, said today that a 32-year-old woman from Nagrota Bagwan was admitted to the DRPGMC yesterday and she tested positive for H1N1. He said she was discharged today from the hospital following signs of improvement.
He said another woman, who also tested positive for swine flu, was admitted to the military hospital, Yol. He said four swine flu patients were already undergoing treatment in the isolation ward of the hospital.
