Chamba, July 8
As many as 500 persons from 16 panchayats were examined at a medical camp organised by the Chamba unit of the Himotkarsh Jan Kalyan Parishad at the Community Health Centre, Choori, here on Sunday.
Opthamologists distributed spectacles to the needy patients. The villagers were screened for diabetes and 12 new cases were detected. The facility of blood test and x-ray was also available. Parishad president YK Puri said the Chamera power station provided free medicines to the patients during the camp. — OC
