SHIMLA: Himachal BJP chief Satpal Singh Satti has thanked the Prime Minister for agreeing to lay stone of AIIMS at Bilaspur and said it was a great honour for Himachal.

Himachal BJP chief Satpal Singh Satti has thanked the Prime Minister for agreeing to lay stone of AIIMS at Bilaspur and said it was a great honour for Himachal.

After the NDA government, headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, assumed office, Himachal was given several developmental projects, including three fourlane projects, 69 national highways, three medical colleges at Chamba, Hamirpur and Nahan, super-specialty trauma centre at Dharamsala and Shimla, besides Central University.

He said the BJP would hold a rally for the Prime Minister in Bilaspur on October 3 as a token of thanks and state general secretary Randhir Sharma would be the in-charge of it while party secretary Trilok Jamwal and organisational in-charge of Hamirpur Sanjeev Katwal would be the co in-charge.

BJP MP from Hamirpur Anurag Thakur also expressed gratitude to the PM and said AIIMS would prove to be a boon for the people of the state who would get the facility of advance medical treatment near their homes.
