Action if water tank found dirty, warns minister

“It is the responsibility of house owners to keep their water tanks clean and the IPH Department, after making an inspection, will submit its report,” Irrigation and Public Health Minister Mahender Singh said while chairing a meeting convened to tackle the drought-like situation here on Saturday.

IPH Minister instructed the officials of the department to disconnect the connections of those house who did not keep their water tanks clean.

The minister impressed upon the Health Department to ensure the supply of essential medicines at the health sub-centres, combating the water-borne ailments.
