Chamba, February 13

Colonel Manish Sharma (Sena Medal), Recruitment Director at the Army Recruitment Office, Palampur, today said the online application process under the Agnipath Recruitment Scheme for Chamba and Kangra youth for the year 2024-25 will remain open from February 13 to March 22.

The recruitment of Agniveers will be conducted in two phases. The first phase will include an online computer-based written examination (online CEE) starting from April 22 and the second phase will involve physical fitness tests (PFT), physical measurement tests (PMT), and medical examinations.

Notifications have been issued for candidates from Chamba and Kangra districts for positions such as Agniveer (General Duty), Agniveer (Technical), Agniveer Office Assistant, Store Keeper Technical, Agniveer Tradesman for 10th pass, and Agniveer Tradesman for 8th pass categories. Interested candidates can register on the official website of the Indian Army, joinindianarmy.nic.in.

The Colonel said recruitment for the posts of Agniveer Clerk and Store Keeper Technical will be conducted under the category of Agniveer Office Assistant (SKT). Typing tests for Agniveer Office Assistant (SKT) will be conducted online during the CEE, where candidates will be required to type 30 words per minute in English. Only those candidates who pass the typing test will be eligible for phase-II of the recruitment process. Sample practice tests are available on the website.
