Bali announces Rs 3 cr for Nahan bus stand

While presiding over a district-level Independence Day function at Nahan yesterday, Transport Minister GS Bali said about 30-40 super deluxe buses having facilities like Volvo buses would be introduced within and outsides the state soon.

He said such service would be called as ‘HIM SEVA’ and they will run on ordinary fare. He announced Rs 3 crore for the construction of a bus stand at Nahan.

Earlier, the Transport Minister unfurled the Tricolour and took salute of an impressive march past, presented by the police, Home Guards, NCC and schoolchildren.

He felicitated the people on Independence Day and paid tributes to the heroes of the freedom movement, who had laid their lives for the cause of the nation. — TNS
