BJP leader relieved for speaking against Satti

The Una BJP today relieved Dileep ‘Doji’ Prabhakar, president of the Santoshgarh city unit, and also took back the additional responsibility of the district vice-president of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha. The decision was taken against Dileep for allegedly speaking against the Una BJP candidate and state party president Satpal Singh Satti. The party has appointed Satish Agniohotri as the new president of the Santoshgarh city unit.

Dileep ‘Doji’ said he was not satisfied with the working of the BJP president, adding that he had decided to support the Congress during the Assembly elections. He said he had supported Prem Kumar Dhumal as the Chief Minister during the elections in one of his Facebook posts, adding that after party workers mounted tremendous pressure on him, he had to remove the post. “I will continue to support the BJP Lok Sabha candidate in the future elections,” Dileep said. Meanwhile, Satti said he was unaware of the decision by the block or district party units. He added that Dileep was a dedicated worker and was still in the party. “At times, misunderstanding creeps in, which can be removed by dialogue,” Satti said. — OC
