Money collected through electoral bonds is being used by the BJP to eliminate Opposition in the country and the same was done in the Rajya Sabha elections in the state. This was stated by advocate Rohit Sharma spokesperson for the District Congress Committee here today while addressing a press conference.

He said the funds hoarded by BJP were termed unconstitutional by the Supreme Court of India. He added the nefarious design of BJP was exposed and people of the state would never forgive BJP.

Sharma added Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu had defeated money power with the power of democracy. He said that expulsion of six MLAs, who betrayed Congress, was rightful decision of Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania. He said former Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur’s frustration was visible in his statements.

Sharma said the Congress government would complete the five-year tenure and no one could destabilise it. He added the two MLA’s from the district, Rajinder Rana and Inder Dutt Lakhanpal, would not be able to face the people who had voted for them thrice. Both of them had lost trust and credibility among masses, he added.
