15 depts fall under public service Act

The government has covered 15 departments under the Public Guarantee Act providing 86 services to the citizens.

The departments covered under the Act for assured time-bound services include Health, Forests, Panchayati Raj, Revenue, Industries, Irrigation and Public Health Department, Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Social Justice and Empowerment Department, Home (Fire Services), MPP and Power, Urban Development and Town and Country Planning.

In the Agriculture Department, the notified service of soil testing is being provided to the people within 60 days. The district welfare officer will issue identity cards to persons with disabilities in three days from the receipt of the application.

The applicants will get grazing permits within 24 hours, mortgage permission in two weeks, birth, death and marriage registration within two days and certificates in 15 days and ration card in 60 days. The SHO at police station will take action within 24 hours on online complains, release stated. — TNS
