Govt being misguided, alleges Samiti

Shimla: House owners, under the banner of Upnagriya Jan Kalyan Samanvya Samiti (UJKSS), today accused the state government of succumbing to vested interests of some top officials who are misguiding it on their pending demands of house regularisation, waiving of compounding fee and extension of last date for submitting application till April 30.

House owners, under the banner of Upnagriya Jan Kalyan Samanvya Samiti (UJKSS), today accused the state government of succumbing to vested interests of some top officials who are misguiding it on their pending demands of house regularisation, waiving of compounding fee and extension of last date for submitting application till April 30. Referring to the statement issued by Urban Development Minister Sudhir Sharma, UJKSS general secretary Govind Chatranta, president Chanderpaul Mehta and vice-president  Bhupinder Kunwar today said instead of supporting the common public and standing by an assurance given by CMVirbhadra Singh and the minister himself, it was unfortunate that the latter was threatening the house owners. — TNS
