The Vivekananda Jayanti will be celebrated as Youth Day on January 12 here to commemorate the 154th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda.

PR Agnihotri, convener of the kendra’s local unit, said three prominent speakers, Prof Yoginder Singh Verma, Pro Vice-Chancellor, Central University of Himachal Pradesh, Swami Premanand Ji of Govind Ashram, Paror, and Dr BK Chander Shekhar, Director of Education in India for Yoga Samskrutam University, Florida (USA), would throw light on the life and teachings of Swami Vivekananda. — OC
