Crime-free society to be priority: Dhumal

“We have committed to giving fearless society to people and that will be the priority of our government,” said former Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal here today. He said the state was reeling under crime and mafia raj and the BJP would re-establish pride and reputation that was tarnished by the Congress government. He said drugs had spoiled the young generation and the mafia would be nailed.

Dhumal said the development was put on a halt by the Congress government and despite having financial support of over thousands of crores of rupees from the Centre, none of the projects was initiated by the government.

He said prosperity and welfare of people would be taken care by bringing the proposed projects to reality. He said once development projects would be initiated, there would be generation of jobs. Dhumal said the people had voted for the change and in favour of the BJP. He said when only six days were left for counting, there would be no use of making irrelevant statements.

He said those who were involved in false predictions would be silenced by the results.The BJP would form the government with comfortable majority.

Earlier, BJP leaders from various constituencies thronged the residence of former CM at Sameerpur.
