In order to promote tourism in Kullu district, a state-of-the-art Geo tracking application has been added to gokullu.com, a website launched by the district administration on January 25, the statehood day.

The application will prove to be a boon, especially for tourists, interested in adventure sports and trekking. Kullu Deputy Commissioner Yunus Khan launched the updated version and the Geo tracking application of gokullu.com website at a function held at Dev Sadan here today.

The application can also be helpful in conducting rescue operations during natural disaster, he added. He said the application would be publicised to apprise the domestic and international tourists. He stated that in addition to various government websites, information related to gokullu.com and Geo tracking application would be displayed at important airports, tourist sites, offices of tour and travel companies and various public places of the state.
