SUNDERNAGAR, August 17
The Additional Sessions Judge, Mandi, today granted interim bail to a lecturer who was booked by the police for sexual harassment of a girl student at senior secondary school, Chai Ka Dohra, near here.
On the complaint of a girl student, the police had registered a case against lecturer Sarwan Kumar.
After hearing the matter, the court issued notice to the state for August 21 and till then he was ordered to be released on interim bail.
The Education Department had suspended the lecturer and shifted the Principal who allegedly tried to hush up the matter.— OC
