Una, November 29

The police have booked a tourist from Bihar, Prakash Kumar, for creating nuisance in the Dharamsala-Delhi Volvo bus. He took off his stinky socks, annoying fellow passengers.

The incident pertains to the intervening night of November 26 and 27. Sources said Prakash Kumar, who was travelling to Delhi, removed his socks and shoes near Kangra.

The fellow passengers could not bear the stink and asked Kumar to do something about it.

But he refused to throw the socks. This led to a heated exchange between Kumar and fellow passengers.

The latter got the bus stopped near the Bharwain police station in Una and handed over Kumar to the police for causing inconvenience to them.

A case under Sections 107/51 has been registered against him. He was later released on surety by the Amb SDM.

Una SP Sanjeev Gandhi said Kumar created ruckus at the police station also.

He also filed a complaint against his fellow passengers, alleging that there was no stink. He alleged that they fought with him for no reason.
