SHIMLA: The high-altitude tribal areas today received a mild snowfall while overcast sky is creating congenial conditions for rain and snow.

The high-altitude tribal areas today received a mild snowfall while overcast sky is creating congenial conditions for rain and snow.

  The local Met office has predicted rain and thundershowers at many places in low hills and rain and snow in most parts in mid and high hills till February 13 and warned of heavy rain and snow in mid and high hills tomorrow.

The maximum temperatures decreased marginally and Una with 25.6 degree was the hottest in day. The minimum temperatures increased by 1-2 degrees and Keylong was the coldest at night with a low of minus 5.9 degree followed by Kalpa minus 2 degree while the key tourist resorts of Manali, Shimla and Dharamsala recorded a minimum temperature at 1 degree 4.6 degree and 7 degree. — TNS
