Minjar fair from July 29

The eight-day Minjar fair will begin here on July 29.

In an official communiqué here on Wednesday, Chamba DC Harikesh Meena, who is also the chairperson of the Minjar fair celebration committee, said preparations were in full swing for the fair, which would conclude on August 5.

He said for the purpose, various sub-committees, headed by officials concerned, had been constituted to look after the preparations.

The fair attracts a large number of tourists from various parts of Himachal and the neighbouring states, the DC said.— OC
