Several parts of Himachal experienced widespread rain as the monsoon remained active in the state. Bijahi had 69 mm of rain while Una and Sundernagar recorded 42 mm and 34 mm rain, followed by Bharwara 32 mm, Kalatop 16 mm, Gaggal and Dharamsala 13 mm, Bharwara 12 mm, Shimla 11 mm, Jogindernagar 9 mm, Dalhousie 6 mm and Jubbarhatti 5 mm.

The local weather office has warned of heavy rain at isolated places over the next three days in Chamba, Hamirpur, Kangra, Mandi, Shimla, Sirmaur, Solan and Una districts and heavy to very heavy rain at isolated places in Kinnaur and Mandi districts on July 7.

The maximum day temperatures fluctuated marginally and Una was the hottest in the region with a high of 37.7°C, followed by Bhuntar 35°C, Kangra 31.5°C, Sundernagar 31.2°C, Nahan 29.8°C, Dharamshala 29.4°C, Solan 29°C, Manali 28°C, Kalpa 27.4°C and Shimla 22.6°C.

There was no change in the minimum temperatures and Keylong in tribal Lahaul and Spiti was the coldest at night with a low of 13.4°C, followed by Kalpa 14°C. The key tourist resorts of Manali, Dharamsala, Dalhousie and Shimla recorded a low of 14.6°C, 16.6°C, 17.1°C and 19.1°C, respectively.

Una was warm at night with the minimum temperature at 22.4°C, followed by Solan 22.5°C, Sundernagar 23.4°C, Bhuntar 23.5°C, Nahan 23.9°C, Kangra 24.6°C, Hamirpur 24.7°C and Bilaspur 25.6°C.
