Nigerian held for drug peddling

UNA: The police today arrested a Nigerian from Delhi on charge of drug peddling.

The police today arrested a Nigerian from Delhi on charge of drug peddling. The accused identified as Emeka P Kanikwu (37) of Delter in Nigeria, supplied drugs in Una district.

SP Sanjeev Gandhi said 471.7 gm heroin, .56 gm cocaine, weighing scales and syringes were recovered Emeka. The SP said Manoj Kumar of Gurnam Dass Nagar in Moga district, who was arrested by the police near Bhatoli College on August 8, had revealed Emeka’s name during interrogation. — OC
