The Election Commission of India (ECI) has appointed two expenditure observers and three general observers for the conduct of free and fair elections in five Assembly constituencies of Chamba district listed for November 9.
In an official communiqué issued here today, Sudesh Mokhta, Deputy Commissioner (DC)- cum-District Election Officer (DEO) of Chamba, disclosed that Pawan Konda had been appointed as expenditure observer for the Pangi tribal area while Dharamveer Tandi was appointed for the rest of Chamba district.
Regarding general observers, the DC said Dayanidhan Pande had been appointed as general observer for Bharmour, Peasant Senapati for Chamba and Kuldeep Narayan for Dalhousie, Bhattiyat and Churah (SC) constituencies of the district.
