The online registration for recruitment in the Indian Army under the Agniveer scheme for 2024-25, which started on February 13, will continue till March 22.

This was stated by the Recruitment Director, Army Recruitment Office, Shimla, Col Pushvinder Kaur, while addressing a press conference here today.

She said the online registration process for the youths of Shimla, Kinnaur, Solan and Sirmour is going on.

This registration will be for Agniveer General Duty, Agniveer Office Assistant/ Storekeeper Technical, Agniveer Tradesman and Agniveer Technical. “This time, the typing test for the post of Bar Office Assistant and Storekeeper Technical will be mandatory,” she added.

She said it is mandatory for all the eligible candidates to register themselves on the official recruitment website i.e. www.joinindianarmy nic.in.

“There is also a video link available on the official website for the convenience of candidates through which they can understand the changed process of registration and how to appear for the examination,” she said.

The Recruitment Director further said while applying for the examination, candidates can also choose their examination centre, which will be allotted as per the availability.

“The online exam will be conducted on April 22,” she added.

She also appealed to the candidates to check and review the eligibility and conditions before the registration for recruitment.

Typing test a must
