Shimla, April 19

BJP candidate from the Shimla Lok Sabha seat Suresh Kashyap today said that people must vote in favour of the party to ensure that Narendra Modi becomes Prime Minister for the third time.

Kashyap, while addressing an election meeting in the Rohru Assembly segment, said that the able leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi had made India a force to reckon with on the international stage. “I am confident that the people of the Shimla Lok Sabha seat will once again vote in favour of the BJP to ensure that Narendra Modi becomes Prime Minister again,” he added.

Kashyap had won the 2019 Lok Sabha elections after resigning as an MLA from the Pachhad Assembly segment in Sirmaur district.

Hep addressed six election meetings in Rohru. “Every section of society, be it youth, women, farmers or employees is disenchanted with the Congress after after its 14-month rule,” he said. He said people must vote in favour of the BJP to ensure that there was uniform development all over the state.

Kashyap said that the retired employees of the Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board (HPSEB) were being denied pensionary benefits. “The medical reimbursement bill of the HPSEB retired employees are not being passed which is causing a lot of problem to the retirees,” he said.
