Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh has conceded defeat six months before the Assembly elections and his statement that even though the BJP might win in future there will be no chance for Dhumal shows his uneasiness and desperation, said member of Parliament from Hamirpur Anurag Thakur.

In a statement issued here today, Anurag Thakur said that even the Chief Minister knows that various welfare schemes started by the Central government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and inability of the Himachal Government to carry out any development activities in last four-and-a-half years will result in ‘Congress-mukt” Himachal.

Anurag Thakur further said that due to faith in the Narendra Modi-led Central government, people in four out of five states have voted overwhelmingly for the BJP. Even Himachal will be free of the Congress by the year-end and Anil Dhiman will clinch Bhoranj seat by record votes to continue the tradition of serving people like his father late I D Dhiman.
