Punish encroachers, says Chamba DM

CHAMBA: To take steps against encroachments, Harikesh Meena, DM, Chamba, has directed the municipal council, police and the local administration to impound goods kept by shopkeepers by encroaching drains in the main bazaar. He presided over a meeting of officers here on Monday. He said a layout plan amounting to Rs 18.80 lakh had been drawn for the construction of a footpath from the old bus stand to Bharmour zero point. OC
