Rs 1crore announced for school stadium

UNA: Rural Development Minister Virender Kanwar on Tuesday announced that a sports stadium would be constructed on the premises of Government Senior Secondary School, Dhamandri, in the Kutlehar Assembly segment, at a cost of Rs 1 crore.

Rural Development Minister Virender Kanwar on Tuesday announced that a sports stadium would be constructed on the premises of Government Senior Secondary School, Dhamandri, in the Kutlehar Assembly segment, at a cost of Rs 1 crore.

Addressing a public gathering after inaugurating a basketball court in the school, he called upon children to take active part in sports activities for all-round development of their personality.

Kanwar said the Lam to Kuriala link road would be strengthened, for which a detailed project report had already been prepared and funds would be released soon by the government. He said Una to Dhamandri via Takka road would be strengthened. Earlier, he addressed public grievances at Nangal Salangri and Dhamandri panchayats. — TNS
