School principal honoured

The Global Achievers Foundation has conferred the outstanding achievement award on Hemlata Upadhyay, principal of Government Senior Secondary School, Mundroo, at Balh in Mandi. She was honoured during a function in New Delhi on February 20.

The foundation recognises national and international achievers. Hemlata has also served in rural areas.

She said: “I have motivated boys and girls to go the extra mile. My efforts have fructified,” she said. — TNS
