Shimla: 6 shops gutted in fire in Lakkar Bazaar

Shimla, February 20  

At least six shops were gutted in a devastating fire in congested Lakkar Bazaar area of Shimla late last night.

Property worth lakhs of rupees was destroyed. No loss of life was reported.

Fire brigade fought the flames till this morning to douse the fire.

Fire brigade received the call at 12.18 am and eight fire tenders were rushed to the spot. A large number of shops were saved due to the efforts of the fire brigade.
