The seventh edition of the Kasauli Rhythm & Blues Festival, organised by the Genesis Foundation (GF), started on Friday evening near Kasauli. Exhibiting various musical presentations, the festival is a uniquely designed fund raising programme aimed at saving little hearts.

The festival began with a rocking performance by the popular band Unplugged. The band set the mood for the day with their original and popular compositions, like Kyun, Tu Kaun Hai and Dil Ki Awaaz. They were followed by a special stand up comedy act by Anshu More called Right Se Dekh where he had the audience in splits. The Thermal and A Quarter which followed gave the audience the perfect combination of rock and roll amidst the cool climes of Kasauli hills.

Talking about the event, Prema Sagar, Founding Trustee of Genesis Foundation said, “Music is a great unifier and we bring people from varied backgrounds to help support the cause of saving little hearts. It is really heartening to see how the festival has grown over the years. Being at the festival is always a magical experience and I am always overwhelmed by how the team come together to support GF kids.”
