Shimla, April 22
The exports from Himachal Pradesh were worth Rs 4,495.98 crore in 2016-17 upto Novemer 2016 and Rs 5,849.46 crore in 2015-16. Director of Industries Rajesh Sharma stated this while speaking at a two-day workshop on “Developing Export Plan for Himachal Pradesh”, organised by Regional Centre for Medium Small and Micro Enterprises (MSME) Studies here today.
He directed general managers to submit an export plan and details of MSME units in various districts so that the export potential of each district could be realised. He also emphasised on proactive working for exploring the export potential of the state.
