The Information Technology Department has set up about 600 Aadhaar enrolment centres across the state for enrolment coverage.

This was stated by Information Technology Minister Vidya Stokes while inaugurating a portal for digital forms and Aadhaar enrolment reporting mobile application here today.

She said for the effective monitoring of enrolment in these centres, a mobile application had been developed by the IT Department, which was for the internal use of all Aadhaar enrolment centres working in state.

“It enables authorised users to upload the data of number of enrolments done in their respective centres,” she added. Stokes said three types of Aadhaar enrolment centres were set up by the department which included 126 common service centres (CSCs) at the block level, 30 permanent enrolment centres at the district level and 450 tablet based enrolment centres in anganwaris.

“The authorised enrolment operator can login into the application and enter daily enrolments, issues and feedback. The daily enrolment report is reflected on the Aadhaar website of IT Department at https ://aadhaar.hp.gov.in which is visible to all the stakeholders over the internet,” she added.
