Two arrested with charas in Kangra

KANGRA: Two persons were arrested by Kangra police last evening under different sections of the NDPS Act after recovery of 31 grams of charas and 201 capsules of SPM-PRS from their possession at Ghatnalu village falling under Shahpur police station, police said here today.

Two persons were arrested by Kangra police last evening under different sections of the NDPS Act after recovery of 31 grams of charas and 201 capsules of SPM-PRS from their possession at Ghatnalu village falling under Shahpur police station, police said here today.

Police arrested Nitin Chambyal, a resident of Draman, Sihunta tehsil of Chamba district and Gulshan Kumar, a resident of Jhared, Shahpur tehsil after 31 grams of charas and 201 capsules of SPM-PRS recovered from their possession at Ghatnalu.

A case under section 20,39-61-85 NDPS Act and 18-C Drug and Cosmetic Act has been registered against the two accused persons in this connection. Police said that investigation was in progress. — OC
