Two killed in road mishap

SUNDERNAGAR: Two persons died after the car they were travelling in rolled into a 400-feet deep gorge at Charkari about 60 km from Sundernagar today.

Two persons died after the car they were travelling in rolled into a 400-feet deep gorge at Charkari about 60 km from Sundernagar today.

The deceased have been identified as Netar Singh of Charkari village and Daulat Ram of Badu village in Gohar sub division of Mandi district. One of victims died on the spot and other succumbed to injuries at the Community Health Centre, Pangna.

The police have registered a case and started the investigation in to the incident. The bodies were handed over to the families after a postmortem examination at Civil Hospital, Sundernagar.
