Una BJP to hold protest tomorrow

The district BJP will stage a protest at the district headquarters on July 21 against the rape and murder of a girl in Kotkhai and the failure of investigating agencies and the government in handling the sensitive issue.

In a press note issued here today, district BJP general secretary Yashpal Rana said the party workes would organise a protest march and submit a memorandum to the Governor through the Deputy Commissioner, seeking justice for the grief-stricken family of the victim and bringing those involved in the heinous crime to book.

He said the custodial death of one of the accused at the Kotkhai police station had further raised fingers at the investigating agencies and the government.
