With Deputy Commissioner Rohan Chand Thakur restricting the plying of non-permit vehicles on the Sanjauli-IGMC road today, resident doctors demanded adequate parking space and hassle-free entry during their duty hours.

As directed by the High Court, the Shimla DC issued a notification restricting the entry of all non-permit vehicles, except ambulances, other emergency service and private vehicles carrying patients to the IGMC, dental and cancer hospitals. They have asked the SP to implement the order from tomorrow. The DC lifted restriction on the movement of traffic on the Panthaghati-Chhota Shimla via Kasumpati road on Sunday and other holidays as directed by the High Court.
