Woman commits suicide in Una

UNA: Usha Devi, a resident of Mohalla Gurusar in ward number 2 in Una city, reportedly committed suicide after hanging herself from the roof of her house last night.

Usha Devi, a resident of Mohalla Gurusar in ward number 2 in Una city, reportedly committed suicide after hanging herself from the roof of her house last night. The deceased belonged to Chamba district. She was married to Ravinder Kumar, a photographer, and have a two-year-old daughter.

According to sources, Ravinder was away last night. His landlord said he heard the child crying at midnight, adding that when the noise continued for long, he went towards Ravinder’s room where he saw Usha hanging from the roof and the door was locked from inside. The postmortem examination has been conducted.
