Mandi, March 12
A woman was found dead in a water tank at Lohardi village in Sarkaghat, Mandi district, yesterday.
According to police, they received an information that the body of a woman was floating in a water tank. She was identified as Santosh Kumari (50), wife of Jai Kumar.
Police said on the complaint of her family, a case of abetment to suicide has been registered. The police are investigating all aspects of the case whether the victim fell in the tank accidentally or it was a deliberate attempt to kill her. — TNS
