Solan, February 17
The Baddi police today recovered the body of a 18-year-old youth from the forest area of Doriya village.
His neck was found slit with a sharp-edged weapon and head injuries were also visible. The victim was a resident of Moti Hari district of Bihar. He went missing last morning. The youth’s body was found in the forest area by another fellow migrant labourer, who had gone to collect wood.
He informed the factory staff of a nearby unit, who informed the police. Rahul Sharma, DSP Baddi, said the postmortem would be conducted tomorrow. — TNS
