3 hurt as two cars collide

PHAGWARA: Three persons sustained injuries in a collision between two cars in front of Milan Palace, near Goraya, on the national highway this morning.

Three persons sustained injuries in a collision between two cars in front of Milan Palace, near Goraya, on the national highway this morning.

The injured were admitted to a hospital in Phillaur.

According to the information, Tirth Singh, a resident of Zandiala Manzkia, along with his mother Gurjit Kaur, were on their way to Ludhiana in a Swift car, when a Verna car rammed into their car from the rear.

The Verna car fell into on the roadside ditch after breaking grills of the divider of the highway, while the Swift car rammed into the divider.

Roop Lal, driver of the Verna car, too, sustained injuries in the mishap.

Both vehicles were damaged in the mishap.
