AAP candidate’s assets register an increase

PHAGWARA: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate from the Phagwara Assembly constituency (reserve), Jarnail Nangal, in his affidavit filed in 2012 Assembly elections, had contested as a BSP candidate.

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate from the Phagwara Assembly constituency (reserve), Jarnail Nangal, in his affidavit filed in 2012 Assembly elections, had contested as a BSP candidate.

In his affidavit, he had showed the movable/ immovable property of himself and his spouse as land worth Rs 1.50 lakh, 60 gms of gold worth Rs 1.68 lakh, cash worth Rs 25,000 and bank deposits worth Rs 1.38,306.

Nangal has now filed his nomination papers as AAP candidate from Phagwara assembly seat and filed an affidavit before the Returning Officer—SDM Balbir Raj Singh—showing movable/ immovable property of himself and spouse as land worth Rs 30 lakh, cash worth Rs 25,000, 60 grams of jewellery and bank deposits to the tune of Rs 87,622.
