AAP leader booked for hurting religious sentiments

PHILLAUR: The Phillaur police have registered a case under Section 295A and 298 of the IPC against Phillaur-based Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Rajinder Sandhu on the charge of hurting religious feelings of Hindu community by uploading objectionable audio and video on his Facebook ID which provoked the activists of different Hindu organisations and forced them to demonstrate against the AAP leader.

The Phillaur police have registered a case under Section 295A and 298 of the IPC against Phillaur-based Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Rajinder Sandhu on the charge of hurting religious feelings of Hindu community by uploading objectionable audio and video on his Facebook ID which provoked the activists of different Hindu organisations and forced them to demonstrate against the AAP leader.

This was confirmed by DSP Kanwalpreet Singh Chahal who said the accused would be nabbed soon. No arrests have been made so far. OC
