Jalandhar, March 9

The exit polls this evening once again raked up the discussion as to which party could win the Assembly polls. Although the final tally would be clear day after, exit polls have badly disappointed SAD-BJP leaders.

Prominent sweet shop owners in the city said they had not got any advance orders from any party this time. Even those shopkeepers who have been keeping a stock of Holi colours have said that no political leaders have yet come to them to collect gulal in bulk for the celebrations.

Most viewers said they were all the more confused after watching the exit polls. Manoj Sharma, a businessman, said, “The same questions are there in everyone’s mind that it could be Congress, Aam Aadmi Party or a hung Assembly and there seems no clarity again.”

Meanwhile, all leaders have started paying obeisance to holy places. Akali contestant from Adampur Pawan Tinu said that he went to Golden Temple today to seek blessings before the result.
