Jalandhar: Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya won Guru Nanak Dev University Archery Inter College Championship in Compound Event.



Jalandhar: Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya won Guru Nanak Dev University Archery Inter College Championship in Compound Event. HMV defeated Khalsa College Amritsar in the final round. Rajat won one silver and two bronze medals in the individual round. Principal Dr Ajay Sareen congratulated the winning players. HOD physical education department, Sudarshan Kang, DPE Harmeet Kaur and Baldeena D. Khokhar were also present in the event.

KMV organises sale at Sukriti

Jalandhar: The students of B.Voc retail management of the Kanya Maha Vidyalaya –The Heritage Institution organised a Christmas and New Year sale at Sukriti—The Retail Lab. A wide range of beautifully made artifacts home décor, apparels, jewellery was on sale. The sale was a big hit among students and faculty members. Principal Prof Atima Sharma Dwivedi lauded Rashmi Sharma, in charge of B.Voc in retail management and students for such an initiative. Such activities provide students with ample opportunities to learn and explore the working of a multi-brand retail store. They also get acquainted with practical aspects of retail management. KMV is the only college of GNDU, which has been selected as DDU Kaushal Kendra by MHRD, Government of India. Students of retail management have been doing exceptionally well and have got placement in renowned retail organisations through Retailers Association Skill Council of India (RASCI). Events such as the present one, would enhance the knowledge and employability of the students.
