The members of the Louis Braille Association for Blind celebrated the birthday of Louis Braille, the creator of the Braille script at an event here. They celebrated the function along with members of the Bharat Vikas Parishad.
Competitions of Braille script - writing, reading and quiz contests were held on the occasion. Executive Dean of Lovely Professional University, Sanjay Modi, as the chief guest. He congratulated the association for holding the function and promised the university would extend all help to visually impaired students seeking admissions in it.
The association’s president Vikrant Dutta, chairman Rajinder Singh, vice chairman Ashwani Kumar, general secretary Rakesh Kumar, cashier Ramanveer, joint cashier Tejinder Singh, Verinder pal Singh among others were present.
