JAALNDHAR: One of the top airlines of India, IndiGo Airlines has selected CT Institute of Hotel Management (CTIHM) student named Shivani Sharma as Cabin Crew on an average package of Rs 6 Lakh per annum (inclusive of allowance and other benefits).



Jalandhar: One of the top airlines of India, IndiGo Airlines has selected CT Institute of Hotel Management (CTIHM) student named Shivani Sharma as Cabin Crew on an average package of Rs 6 Lakh per annum (inclusive of allowance and other benefits). Shivani who hails from Jalandhar is a student of Airlines, Tourism and Hospitality Management. Her final examination result is still awaited.” Dr Bharat Kapoor, Director CTIHM said programme in Airlines, Tourism and Hospitality provides an opportunity for students to develop academic and industry specific skills linked to the commercial aviation industry. The programme makes students understand the structure, nature and operating characteristics of the international tourism industry. While congratulating her, CT Group of Institutions Managing Director Mr Manbir Singh said “CT Group feels proud that our students are getting placed with good brands and at a good package.” TNS

University position  

Jalandhar: Preeti of Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar has bagged 8th position in the University exams of MA-Economics III Sem by scoring 373 out 500. This information was given in a press release by the Principal of the College Dr Gurpinder Singh Samra. The President of the College Governing Council Sardarni Balbir Kaur congratulated the students and wished them success in life. Prof Navdeep Kaur, Head of the Department of Economics, Dr Simranjeet Singh Bains were also present on this occasion. TNS

Mother’s Day celebration

Jalandhar: Sanskriti KMV School marking the most affectionate relation of the mankind- Mother, devoted an event inviting the mothers of primary grade students to be a part of International Mother’s Day celebration in the school. With a short cultural program on the theme, invitees participated in the solo dance presentation, spreading the wave of joy and admiration, among the children.  The best performers were- Mrs Astha Kalsi, Ms Parminder Kaur and Ms Pooja Yadav. Students also made  cards for their mothers, expressing their love for them.  TNS
