Jalandhar, October 18
Inner Wheel Club, Jalandhar, celebrated Diwali with under-privileged members of the society. Members of the club distributed sweets, milk and biscuits among students of NGF School for labourers’ children.
The members also visited the old-age home and distributed quilts, blankets and bedsheets there.
The members, along with two student volunteers, Keshav and Sahil, also visited Prayaas School for special children and distributed milk, bananas, cakes, chocolates and sweets among kids.
Shawls were gifted to the members of the staff. — TNS
