Chain hunger strike by govt teachers

All the teachers of Government Primary Schools of Phagwara continued their chain hunger strike in protest against non-payment of their salaries for the last several months, in-front of the office of Block Primary Education Officer Phagwara on the second day today.

Teachers on strike alleged that in the absence of salaries, they were living in misery. They threatened to intensify their stir if their salaries are not paid soon.
