Mohit Sehdev (33), a resident of Ashok Nagar, has qualified for International Fitness Model Championship 'Kahma Classic' that is going to be held in Australia this month.

He is an electrical instructor by profession at Mehar Chand Polytechnic. He achieved the distinction by winning the National Fitness Championship recently held in Guwahati. Now he is all set to give a strong smash to international-level fitness champions under 72-kg category.

Earlier having an ordinary lean physique, Mohit never knew that one day he will become a fitness model. It all began only four years ago when he started proper training. He also bagged the title of Mr Punjab in 2017.

Mohit said, "I take these fitness titles seriously when I miss the title of Mr Jalandhar and have to satisfy by staying at the fourth spot.”

Only dedication and sheer hardwork helped him to reach at this spot and the continuous support and guidance of his coach Ravindra Singh, who himself was once Mr Punjab and a runner-up in Mr India Championship, he added.

To the budding body builders, he said, "Nothing is impossible. Just remain focused to what you want to attain and eat only that is fit for body. Nowadays youth thinks that supplements helps to gain finer muscular body but it remains for shorter duration. Consume natural diet and food products to keep yourself fit and healthy for the long run.”
