Cong flays fuel, LPG price hike

JALANDHAR: Ridiculing the NDA government for celebrating two years of their rule amidst hike in prices of fuel, AICC spokesperson Jaiveer Shergill today alleged the government was working on a ‘Profit is mine, loss is yours’ policy.

Jalandhar, June 1

Ridiculing the NDA government for celebrating two years of their rule amidst hike in prices of fuel, AICC spokesperson Jaiveer Shergill today alleged the government was working on a ‘Profit is mine, loss is yours’ policy. He mocked at the Union Government saying, “While the world is celebrating low oil prices, we perhaps are being made to pay extra to sponsor Modi’s shows. The prices of diesel, petrol and LPG cylinders have all gone up today. Dining out with family has become a luxury for the middle class, all thanks to the government which has been constantly raising the service tax.”—TNS
